Duke Energy Corporation added job postings by one hundred twenty seven percent in North Carolina over the last seven days. The company posted thirty four new jobs in the past week, compared to fifteen in the week before. This surge in postings may reflect increased hiring needs.

The rise in job postings could be linked to the overall increase in new jobs posted across North Carolina. The state saw a five percent rise in new job postings, with nine thousand fifty five jobs posted in the last seven days compared to eight thousand six hundred fifty before.

Other companies also experienced significant growth in job postings. Wells Fargo saw postings rise by two hundred nine percent, and Sevita postings increased by two hundred fifteen percent in the same period. These shifts may indicate a wider pattern of increased hiring activity among major employers in the state.
