The total number of new job postings in Ohio increased by one hundred twenty one percent in the same period. There were thirty six thousand seven hundred sixty one new postings in the most recent period, compared to sixteen thousand six hundred twelve before that. This large increase in overall postings could be influenced by several employers adding job advertisements.

Several other employers also saw significant increases in job postings in Ohio. AutoZone posted one thousand fifty three jobs, up from two hundred eight. Compass Group posted three hundred fifty seven jobs, up from seventy two. These figures are based on a small number of postings, meaning even a few additional job ads could create a large percentage change and may appear as noise.

The increase in Meijer's job postings may be due to seasonal hiring needs or a response to local demand. It is also possible that the crawl identified more available positions for Meijer than in the previous period.
