South Africa added sixty six percent more job postings in the past week compared to the week before. This surge in new job postings saw the country move from eight hundred forty three postings to one thousand three hundred ninety eight.
This increase may signal growing demand for tech roles, as Software Engineer, Product Manager, and Data Scientist were the top three roles added. It could also reflect increased hiring activity by companies operating in South Africa.
Other countries also saw substantial growth in job postings. Kuwait's postings grew by eighty five percent, and Peru's grew by eighty percent in the same period. The United Kingdom saw a sixty percent rise in new job postings.

Counts are job postings, not hires, from company career sites that Mogi's crawl found. Compares the 7 days to 2026-10-11 with the 7 days before them. Covers all countries, all states, all roles. Employers with fewer than five postings in the last eight weeks are grouped together and left out of the rankings. The company details come from the crawl's company profiles, where the crawl has one.
