Spectrumhealth Posts Nine Percent More Jobs in Michigan

Spectrumhealth added nine percent more job postings in Michigan in the week ending October 12, increasing from two hundred eighteen to two hundred thirty-seven. This rise comes as overall new job postings in Michigan fell by forty-four percent during the same period, from eleven thousand five hundred fifty-three to six thousand four hundred thirty-six.

The increase in postings by Spectrumhealth may reflect a targeted hiring effort. Alternatively, it could be due to seasonal recruitment patterns specific to the healthcare sector. The company's hiring activity is a notable point of contrast to the broader decline observed in Michigan.

Other major employers in Michigan saw varied changes. The Kroger Co. saw a five percent fall in postings, while Ford Global experienced a forty-eight percent plunge. Domino's and Henry Ford Health, however, posted significant increases, with eleven hundred sixty-seven percent and eleven hundred percent rises respectively.
