Spectrumhealth Job Postings Edge Up in Michigan

Total new job postings in Michigan fell by forty four percent, from nine thousand two hundred thirty eight to five thousand one hundred thirty six, in the week ending October thirteenth. Spectrumhealth added job postings, rising seven percent from two hundred twenty three to two hundred thirty nine. Henry Ford Health saw postings surge by four hundred twenty one percent, from fifty three to two hundred seventy six. Domino's postings surged by six hundred ninety seven percent, from thirty three to two hundred sixty three.

The Kroger Co. saw postings fall by fifty six percent, from three hundred seventy seven to one hundred sixty four. Meijer postings rose nineteen percent, from one hundred eighty three to two hundred eighteen.

The drop in overall postings may reflect seasonal adjustments by employers. It could also be that fewer roles were added by a few large employers during this specific week. The sharp increases at Henry Ford Health and Domino's may indicate specific hiring initiatives or a change in reporting frequency.
