Okta software engineer job postings rise 1600%

Okta posted seventeen software engineer jobs in Canada in the last 28 days, a rise of one thousand six hundred percent from one job posted in the previous 28 day period. This change may reflect Okta's need for software engineers, or it could be that the crawl found more postings for the company. The company's headquarters are in San Francisco, California.

General Motors posted fourteen software engineer jobs, an increase of two hundred fifty percent from four postings. Ford Global posted sixteen jobs, a rise of fourteen percent.

The total number of software engineer job postings in Canada rose forty two percent to four hundred ten in the last 28 days, from two hundred eighty nine postings in the prior period. This change may reflect increased demand for software engineers, or it may be that the crawl captured more new postings overall.

While Okta posted the most new software engineer jobs in Canada, the facts do not support claims of a wider trend. It is possible Okta's postings are driving the overall rise in Canada, but this cannot be confirmed.
