Northwestern Medicine job postings up in Illinois

Northwestern Medicine added one thousand three hundred eighty nine job postings in Illinois in the last seven days. This is a significant rise from zero postings in the prior seven day period. This change reflects an increase in job advertisements by the employer.

The total number of new job postings across Illinois fell by thirty seven percent. There were six thousand seven hundred eighty three new job postings in the last seven days, down from ten thousand seven hundred forty seven in the prior seven day period.

Other employers also saw changes in their job postings. Prime Healthcare saw its postings rise by forty eight percent. Allergan postings edged up by five percent. Caterpillar Inc. postings surged by sixty nine percent.

The reasons for these changes are not certain. Northwestern Medicine's rise in postings may reflect a new recruitment drive. The overall fall in Illinois postings could be due to seasonal factors or a temporary pause in hiring.
