In South Carolina, the total number of new job postings fell by thirty three percent over the last seven days, from three thousand nine hundred seventy eight to two thousand six hundred eighty five. Prismahealth, a major employer, posted forty percent fewer jobs, with one hundred thirty three new postings compared to two hundred twenty three in the prior week.

This decrease in job postings may be due to several factors. It could reflect a seasonal adjustment in hiring needs for the healthcare sector. Alternatively, it is likely that Prismahealth is reassessing its staffing requirements following a period of recruitment.

Other employers in the state showed different patterns. The Spinx Company saw its job postings surge by two hundred twenty two percent, adding two hundred seventy seven new positions. Domino's also added job postings, with eighty nine new openings, compared to none in the previous week.
