Massachusetts also saw significant growth in software engineer job postings over the past week.

Software engineer job postings in Utah rose by eighteen percent in the last seven days. This follows a period where postings fell by thirty seven percent overall in the US for the same role. Massachusetts saw a thirty nine percent rise in postings for software engineers over the same period.
The increase in Utah may signal that L3Harris Technologies, ENFRA, and ARUP Laboratories are expanding their tech teams. It is also possible that other employers in the state are seeking to fill newly created roles. The surge in Massachusetts could indicate a similar demand from companies in that state.
Missouri experienced a nine percent fall in software engineer job postings. This could reflect a seasonal slowdown or a shift in hiring priorities for companies in that state. Colorado and North Carolina also saw decreases in postings.
