New job postings across Pennsylvania fell by forty two percent in the week ending October sixteenth. The total number of new jobs posted was five thousand four hundred sixty, down from nine thousand three hundred eighty three in the prior week. The base for this figure is large enough that random noise is unlikely to explain the change.

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, PA posted two hundred sixty one new jobs, a rise of twenty two percent from two hundred fourteen. This increase may be due to seasonal hiring needs or specific government initiatives. It is also possible that the data crawl captured a backlog of postings.

In contrast, Domino's saw a plunge of seventy four percent in new job postings, from four hundred ninety seven to one hundred twenty eight. This sharp fall could reflect a change in hiring strategy or a temporary pause in recruitment. WellSpan Health also saw a fall of fifty eight percent in job postings.

Lehigh Valley Health Network added four percent more job postings, going from one hundred twenty nine to one hundred thirty four. Jefferson Health Plans saw an increase of fourteen percent. These smaller changes on a relatively small base might be considered noise.
