Kentucky Sees Largest Drop in New Job Postings

New job postings in Kentucky fell by twenty six percent over the last seven days. This change follows a wider decrease in new job postings across all US states, which saw a thirty six percent fall in the same period. Other states like Wyoming and North Dakota also experienced significant drops in new job postings, falling by twenty two percent and twenty six percent respectively.

This fall in postings may be linked to seasonal factors, as is common for this time of year. It could also reflect a broader slowdown in hiring activity that is affecting multiple states. The figures for Kentucky show that roles such as Software Engineer saw two new postings, while Domino's, Baptist Health System, and Uoflhealth were among the employers with the most new postings.

California, a large job market, saw a sixteen percent decrease in new job postings during the same seven day window. The total number of new job postings across all US states dropped from two hundred fifty two thousand four hundred thirty two to one hundred sixty thousand five hundred seventy one.
