Software engineer job postings saw a thirty-one percent rise in the last 28 days, with eleven thousand two hundred ninety-one new positions added. This increase follows a period where eight thousand six hundred twenty-nine positions were posted. The surge in postings may be due to increased project demands or a strategic expansion of engineering teams.

Nokia posted five hundred seventeen percent more software engineer roles in the last 28 days compared to the previous period. This significant increase saw their postings rise from forty-two to two hundred fifty-nine. This change could reflect a major new initiative at Nokia or a shift in their talent acquisition strategy.

Other companies also saw changes in their software engineer postings. Emerson experienced a fall of forty-nine percent, posting two hundred ninety-three roles compared to five hundred seventy-four previously. Cisco added sixty-two percent more postings, reaching one hundred fifty-seven from ninety-seven. JPMorgan Chase saw a slight rise of one percent, posting one thousand seven hundred thirty-five roles.
