Northwestern Medicine job postings fall in Illinois

In the last seven days, Northwestern Medicine posted three hundred thirteen jobs in Illinois, a fall of seventy one percent from the previous week. This is a significant drop in new job postings.

The decrease in job postings may signal a pause in expansion or a shift in hiring priorities. It could also reflect a seasonal adjustment in recruitment efforts. The total number of new job postings in Illinois also fell by thirty four percent.

Prime Healthcare, another health provider, added forty two percent more job postings in the same period. Domino's, a food service company, posted thirty nine percent fewer jobs. Allergan, a pharmaceutical company, posted eighteen percent more jobs. Macy's, a retail company, posted sixty six percent fewer jobs.
