Peraton job postings for Data Scientist roles rise 400% in Maryland

In Maryland, job postings for Data Scientists saw a rise of 94% in the last 28 days, with 33 new postings compared to 17 previously. This increase may be driven by a growing demand for data analysis skills in the region, or it could reflect a seasonal uptick in hiring for such roles.

Looking at specific employers, Peraton posted five new job openings for Data Scientists in Maryland. This represents a 400% increase from the one job posting they had in the previous 28 day period. This surge could be due to Peraton expanding its data science team, or it might be tied to specific project needs that require additional data scientists.

While the overall number of new job postings for Data Scientists in Maryland has increased, the surge at Peraton is the most significant contributor to this change. The facts do not support a claim that this is a market wide trend, but rather a notable increase at one employer.
