Colorado and Missouri Show Growth in Software Engineer Postings

In the US, software engineer job postings fell by twenty six percent in the past week. The number of new job postings dropped from one thousand ninety three to eight hundred four.

However, some states saw an increase. Colorado added job postings for software engineers, with a nine percent rise. This state had thirty eight postings in the past week, up from thirty five previously. Missouri also saw an increase, with fourteen percent more postings, rising from twenty two to twenty five.

Virginia also posted more software engineer roles, showing a six percent rise from forty seven to fifty. These increases in specific states may signal localized demand or targeted recruitment efforts by employers within those areas. For example, in Colorado, Blue Origin posted ten software engineer roles, Litera posted four, and Sierra Space posted two.
