Go to Mass.gov. Job Postings Fall in Massachusetts

New job postings in Massachusetts saw a fall over the last seven days. Overall, the state saw four thousand five hundred fifty five new job postings, down from five thousand seven hundred thirty nine in the prior week. This represents a change of minus twenty one percent.

Looking at specific employers, Go to Mass.gov. posted ninety two new jobs, a fall from one hundred twenty four the week before. This is a twenty six percent decrease. Mass General Brigham, however, added job postings, with two hundred thirty seven compared to two hundred eighteen, a rise of nine percent.

Albertsons Companies saw a fall in new job postings, posting one hundred fifty four compared to one hundred seventy five previously, a twelve percent decrease. The reasons for these shifts are unclear. A fall in postings may reflect a slower pace of hiring or changes in how jobs are advertised. A rise in postings could suggest employers are actively seeking to fill roles.
