In the past week, Illinois saw a significant fall in full stack engineer job postings. There were seven postings in the latest period, down from thirteen before, a change of minus forty six percent. This is part of a wider decline in full stack engineer roles across the US, which saw postings fall by forty seven percent over the same period.
Several factors may explain this shift. The number of full stack engineer postings in Illinois could have fallen due to seasonal hiring patterns, or perhaps fewer companies are looking to fill these specific roles at this time. It is also possible that employers are adjusting their recruitment strategies, seeking different skill sets.
In contrast, Texas added sixteen percent more full stack engineer job postings. Virginia also saw a fall, with postings dropping by forty six percent. California experienced a plunge of fifty eight percent in these postings. The data shows a mixed picture across states for these roles.
