Pearson posts 125% rise in software engineer job postings

London, October 18, 2026. Pearson posted one hundred twenty-five percent more software engineer job openings in the United Kingdom in the last 28 days. The company added nine new postings, up from four in the prior 28-day period.

Wise saw a four hundred twenty-five percent rise in software engineer job postings, adding twenty-one new positions. Bet365 added eighteen new postings, an eighteen hundred percent increase. Thales added nine new postings, a nine hundred percent increase.

JPMorgan Chase posted twenty-five percent fewer software engineer jobs. The company added three hundred twenty-four new postings, down from four hundred thirty-two in the prior period.

The rise in postings at Pearson may be due to increased hiring needs for software development. A surge in postings at Wise and Bet365 could reflect new project requirements or expansion. The fall in postings at JPMorgan Chase might indicate a shift in hiring priorities.
