All job postings surge in Illinois

All added job postings for 515 roles in Illinois in the 28 days ending October 19. This represents a 395 percent increase from the 104 roles posted in the preceding 28 days. The total number of new job postings across Illinois in the same period was 32,694, an 80 percent rise from 18,144.

This significant rise in postings by All may be driven by several factors. It could reflect increased hiring needs within the company during this period. Alternatively, the change may be a result of the data collection method capturing more postings than before.

Other employers also saw substantial increases in job postings. Von Maur/Dry Goods added job postings for 72 roles, a 454 percent rise. Goodwill Greater Milwaukee & Chicago added job postings for 55 roles, a 400 percent rise. These figures suggest a broad increase in employer activity in the state.
