Allergan Data Scientist Job Postings Rise

In the week ending October 19, Allergan posted eight jobs for Data Scientists. This represents a rise of three hundred percent from the two postings seen in the previous week. This change is a surge, as it is above fifty percent.

The number of new job postings for Data Scientists across all employers in the scope of this report fell by nineteen percent to two hundred seventy nine, down from three hundred forty three.

This rise in postings at Allergan may be attributed to several factors. The company could be expanding its data science team to support new projects. It is also possible that the crawl captured a specific, short term hiring initiative.

Booz Allen Hamilton saw a fall of forty one percent in Data Scientist job postings, down to ten from seventeen. Fetch added eight job postings, up from zero, and Genpact posted five, a fall of seventeen percent from six.
