New job postings for DevOps Engineers fell by twenty-three percent in the last seven days. This follows a wider decrease in new job postings across all roles, which saw a seventeen percent fall. Software Engineer postings also decreased by twenty-eight percent, while Product Manager postings edged down by five percent.
The fall in DevOps Engineer postings may signal a shift in employer priorities. It could also reflect a temporary slowdown in hiring activity as companies reassess their immediate needs. Alternatively, the decrease may be due to fewer roles being advertised by top employers like Jobgether, Sopra Steria Group, and Allergan.
In the last seven days, California saw fifteen new DevOps Engineer job postings, Virginia had thirteen, and Texas posted nine. These figures represent a fall in overall new job postings, but the specific reasons for this decline remain unclear.

Counts are job postings, not hires, from company career sites that Mogi's crawl found. Compares the 7 days to 2026-10-19 with the 7 days before them. Covers all countries, all states, all roles. Employers with fewer than five postings in the last eight weeks are grouped together and left out of the rankings. The company details come from the crawl's company profiles, where the crawl has one.
