The total number of new job postings in New York fell by twenty eight percent, from ten thousand two hundred thirty five to seven thousand three hundred twenty six. This may be due to seasonal hiring patterns. It could also reflect a change in employer hiring needs. It is likely that fewer roles were posted as companies adjusted their recruitment strategies.
