Okta added sixteen software engineer job postings in Canada in the last 28 days, a rise of four hundred and thirty three percent from three postings before. This change is greater than fifty percent, so it is a surge.
The surge in Okta's software engineer job postings may be because the company is expanding its operations in Canada. It could also reflect an increased need for specific skills, such as java and python, which Okta lists as important.
Ford Global also saw a rise in software engineer postings, adding nine more postings for a one hundred and twenty nine percent increase. Akamai added ten postings, with no previous postings recorded in the window. These figures are from the last twenty eight days.
