Software Engineer job postings fell by twenty eight percent, from two thousand seven hundred eighty to one thousand nine hundred ninety five. This is part of a larger decrease in new job postings, which fell seventeen percent overall in the last seven days.
This fall in Software Engineer postings may be due to employers reassessing their hiring needs. It could also reflect a seasonal slowdown in hiring activity as the period ends. The number of new job postings for Product Manager roles edged down five percent, and Full Stack Engineer postings fell nineteen percent.
The top states for new Software Engineer job postings were California, New York, and Texas. Jobgether, JPMorgan Chase, and Cisco were the top employers posting new jobs for Software Engineers.
