New job postings for software engineers in Colorado fell by thirty eight percent, from forty eight to thirty. This is a notable change from the previous week. In comparison, California saw new postings fall by eighteen percent, and Texas experienced a twelve percent fall.
Nationally, new software engineer job postings decreased by twenty percent. This decrease is unusual given the context of the prior week. The total number of new software engineer jobs posted across the US was six hundred seventy nine, down from eight hundred fifty three.
Several factors may have contributed to this fall. It is possible that hiring demand for software engineers has lessened in Colorado. Alternatively, employers may be taking longer to post new openings, or there could be an increase in the number of available candidates.
