Software Engineer job postings in California fell by eighteen percent in the last seven days. There were one hundred sixty seven postings for this role in the most recent period, compared to two hundred three in the prior week. This represents a fall of thirty six postings.
Product Manager roles saw a ten percent decrease, with seventy five postings compared to eighty three previously. DevOps Engineer postings remained unchanged at eighteen for both periods. Machine Learning Engineer roles experienced a fifteen percent fall, dropping from twenty to seventeen postings.
The number of Full Stack Engineer job postings plunged by fifty three percent. Postings for this role dropped from thirty to fourteen. This steep fall may be due to seasonal hiring patterns or a shift in employer demand for different skill sets. It is also possible that the crawl captured fewer postings for this specific role during the most recent period.
