Idaho Job Postings Fall 7 Percent

Job postings in Idaho fell by seven percent in the week ending October 21, with nine hundred sixty two postings recorded. This follows a previous total of one thousand thirty six postings. This change represents a fall of seventy four postings.

Nationally, new job postings across the US decreased by twenty percent over the same period. This national change saw one hundred forty five thousand seven hundred sixteen new job postings, down from one hundred eighty three thousand one hundred thirty two postings. This represents a fall of thirty seven thousand four hundred sixteen postings.

The fall in Idaho may be attributed to several factors. It could be that employers like Albertsons Companies reduced their hiring activity. It is also possible that fewer new roles were posted by companies such as Domino's or St. Peter's Health Partners. The decrease could also reflect a seasonal adjustment in hiring.
