New Jersey experienced a significant fall in Software Engineer job postings over the last 28 days. Postings dropped by seventy percent, from eight hundred twenty seven to two hundred forty five. This contrasts with the overall US, which saw a three percent rise in Software Engineer postings during the same period, reaching three thousand eight hundred fifty eight.
Several factors may explain this decrease in New Jersey. It is possible that employers are shifting their hiring focus to other states, or that the demand for this specific role has temporarily lessened in the region. Alternatively, the crawl may have captured fewer postings for Software Engineers in New Jersey during this specific window.
In comparison, California added job postings for Software Engineers, with a forty seven percent rise, and Texas saw a fall of nine percent. JPMorgan Chase was the top employer posting Software Engineer roles in New Jersey, accounting for one hundred seventy four of the two hundred forty five postings.
