Nokia Adds Software Engineer Job Postings

Nokia posted a significant increase in Software Engineer job openings, while JPMorgan Chase and Emerson saw a fall.

By Theo Laurent, Mogi Research · Oct 21, 2026

Nokia added five hundred and nineteen percent more Software Engineer job postings in the period. This surge may reflect a growing need for engineering talent at the company. The total number of new job postings for Software Engineers across all countries was nine thousand five hundred and four, a three percent rise.

In contrast, JPMorgan Chase posted thirty two percent fewer Software Engineer jobs. Emerson saw a seventy four percent fall in job postings for the same role. These decreases could be due to a number of factors, including shifting internal priorities or a reduction in hiring needs.

Other companies also showed changes in their Software Engineer job postings. Cisco added eighteen percent more postings, and RTX added thirty percent more. These figures represent the volume of new job advertisements found during the reporting period.
