Domino's and MFA Oil Company Post More Jobs in Missouri

One could argue that the overall rise in job postings in Missouri, up seventy percent to 12,846 from 7,535, indicates a broad economic expansion. This perspective suggests a widespread demand for labor across various sectors within the state. However, a closer look at the data reveals that this surge is heavily influenced by a few specific employers.

The most dramatic increase in job postings came from Domino's, which posted 470 new jobs compared to just seven in the previous period, a rise of six thousand six hundred and fourteen percent. MFA Oil Company also saw a significant surge, posting 229 jobs, a five hundred and thirty six percent increase from 36 postings. These two employers alone account for a substantial portion of the overall rise in Missouri job postings.

The Archdiocese of St. Louis posted 309 jobs, a fourteen percent increase from 272. Phoenix Home Care And Hospice added 230 job postings, a one thousand six hundred and sixty nine percent rise from 13. CoxHealth posted 215 jobs, a forty percent increase from 154. The facts favour the reading that while overall job postings in Missouri increased significantly, this rise was disproportionately driven by a small number of employers, particularly Domino's and MFA Oil Company.
