Salt Lake County Employers Add Job Postings

In Utah over the past seven days, the number of new job postings across all roles has fallen. The total number of new jobs posted was one thousand five hundred sixteen, down from one thousand seven hundred thirteen in the prior period. This represents a twelve percent decrease.

Among individual employers, Harmons added job postings, seeing a fifty-seven percent rise from twenty-eight to forty-four. BYU Office of Information Technology also added job postings, with a fifty percent increase from fourteen to twenty-one. Salt Lake County, however, saw a fall in postings, with ten before and nine now, a ten percent decrease.

This change in job postings could be due to several factors. Harmons may be responding to seasonal hiring needs or a specific project. BYU Office of Information Technology's increase might reflect new initiatives within their information technology department. The slight decrease at Salt Lake County could indicate a pause in hiring or a shift in recruitment strategies.
