Job postings in Peru rose by twenty-eight percent over the past week. Postings went from two hundred eighty-four to three hundred sixty-three. This growth follows a seven percent fall in total job postings across all countries during the same period.
Chile added thirty-eight percent more job postings, rising from one hundred ninety-three to two hundred sixty-six. Colombia saw job postings rise by thirty-seven percent, from four hundred ten to five hundred sixty.
The increase in Peru may be linked to a rise in Data Engineer postings, which accounted for six of the new jobs added. Backend Engineer and Frontend Engineer roles also saw additions. It is likely that demand for these tech roles is driving the overall rise in postings.
