Sentara Job Postings Rise in Virginia

New job postings in Virginia fell ten percent in the week ending October 23, with five thousand one hundred eighty-three postings recorded compared to five thousand seven hundred thirty-eight in the prior week. The largest employers posting jobs were Sentara, Domino's, and Booz Allen Hamilton.

Sentara added job postings, seeing a ten percent rise from one hundred fifty-two postings to one hundred sixty-seven. This increase may reflect the organization's specific staffing needs during this period. It could also be a result of seasonal hiring patterns unique to the healthcare sector.

In contrast, Domino's saw a twenty-nine percent fall in job postings, from four hundred seventeen to two hundred ninety-seven. Booz Allen Hamilton, however, experienced a forty-one percent rise in job postings, adding one hundred six from seventy-five. Riverside Health also posted a surge of fifty-seven percent more jobs.
