Job postings for Data Scientists in the US rose sixteen percent in the 28 days to October 23, with six hundred and seventy eight roles posted. This follows a period where five hundred and eighty five were posted.
This rise could be driven by increased demand for data interpretation and predictive modeling. It may also reflect a growing need for specialized skills in sectors like aerospace, as seen with Howmet Aerospace posting fifty three Data Scientist roles.
Virginia, California, and Michigan were the top states for Data Scientist postings, adding seventy one, sixty one, and fifty eight roles respectively. The overall number of new job postings across all roles in the US increased two percent to one hundred and twenty five hundred and fifty over the same period.
