Freeport McMoRan Inc. job postings surge in New Mexico

One might argue that the rise in job postings reflects a broader increase in hiring across all employers in New Mexico. The total number of new job postings across the state rose by 69%, from two thousand eighty nine to three thousand five hundred twenty. This suggests a general uptick in the job market.

However, the facts show that Freeport McMoRan Inc. saw a surge of one hundred fifty five percent in job postings, from eleven to twenty eight. This growth significantly outpaced the overall state increase, indicating a specific expansion at this company. Other employers like Goodwill Industries of New Mexico, which saw postings rise by three hundred nine percent, and The Pueblo of Sandia, with a two hundred fifty percent rise, also experienced substantial growth.

This surge in postings at Freeport McMoRan Inc. may be due to several factors. The company could be expanding operations, or it might be filling roles related to new projects or increased demand for its services. The Pueblo of Sandia also saw significant growth, potentially indicating increased activity within the tribal organization.
