Illinois Data Scientist Job Postings Surge

Illinois posted one hundred sixty percent more data scientist jobs in the past 28 days compared to the previous 28 day period. This surge follows a rise from fifteen to thirty nine job postings. California also saw a substantial increase, with postings rising one hundred three percent from twenty nine to fifty nine.

Virginia, however, experienced a fall in data scientist job postings. The state posted twelve percent fewer jobs, dropping from eighty three to seventy three postings. Michigan and Texas also saw changes, with Michigan postings rising one hundred sixty four percent and Texas postings rising seven percent.

The surge in Illinois may be attributed to new roles at companies like Allergan, which posted ten data scientist jobs. This change could also reflect increased employer demand in the state. The fall in Virginia may be due to a seasonal slowdown or a shift in hiring priorities.
