Marshall University Sees No Change in Job Postings

In West Virginia, overall new job postings rose by nineteen percent, from five hundred twelve to six hundred eight in the past seven days. This change was driven by growth elsewhere, as Marshall University posted twelve jobs in the most recent week, the same number as the week before. This indicates no change in their job postings.

Domino's saw a surge in job postings, adding fifty two new roles compared to twenty four previously, an increase of one hundred seventeen percent. The Kroger Co. also added job postings, with thirty now posted, up fifty percent from twenty before. These shifts could reflect increased seasonal demand or targeted recruitment efforts.

Other employers in the state experienced a fall in job postings. Sevita posted thirty seven jobs, a decrease of fifty four percent from eighty before, and BFS Foods posted nine jobs, down eighteen percent from eleven. These changes may be due to completed hiring cycles or a reduction in immediate staffing needs.
