Ascension Job Postings Jump in Florida

Ascension added job postings in Florida, rising one hundred ninety two percent in the last seven days. The number of postings went from thirty seven to one hundred eight. This change occurred in a week where overall new job postings in Florida were eleven thousand ninety five. The total number of new job postings in Florida rose twenty four percent.

This rise in Ascension's job postings may be due to increased hiring needs within the state. It could also reflect a change in how job openings are being reported or captured by data aggregators. The base of postings for Ascension was small, with only thirty seven before the increase, making the percentage change appear large.

Other employers in Florida also saw significant increases in job postings. RSC posted three hundred eighteen percent more jobs, and 2020 Companies posted two hundred eighty percent more jobs. The rapid percentage growth for Ascension, RSC, and 2020 Companies is based on a small number of postings before the change, meaning the figures could represent noise rather than a sustained shift.
