Providence Adds Software Engineer Job Postings in Washington

Software engineer job postings in Washington rose by twenty-one percent over the past 28 days. The total number of new postings reached one hundred thirty-four, up from one hundred eleven in the prior period.

Providence added six new job postings for software engineers, a significant increase from zero in the previous period. Anthropic saw its software engineer postings rise by three hundred percent, from two to eight. DoorDash also saw a two hundred percent rise in postings for the role.

JPMorgan Chase, however, posted fewer software engineer roles, with a fall of forty-one percent. Their postings dropped from fifty-six to thirty-three.

These changes may reflect shifting project needs within these companies. It is also possible that the companies are adjusting their recruitment strategies based on current talent availability.
