By Marcus Bell, Mogi Research · Oct 26, 2026
Arizona saw a surge of two hundred nine percent in software engineer job postings in the last four weeks. The state posted sixty eight such jobs in the recent period, up from twenty two in the prior four weeks. This rise may be driven by employers like American Express, which posted twenty one software engineer roles, and Aerospace, with eighteen.
Other states also experienced significant growth. North Carolina saw a rise of one hundred twenty percent, adding forty nine job postings for software engineers. Wisconsin also posted one hundred twenty five percent more software engineer jobs, increasing from twelve to twenty seven.
These increases could reflect a growing demand for specialized tech talent in these states. The rise in postings in Arizona may also be linked to the specific roles and employers active in the state's job market during this period.
