Colorado saw job postings for software engineers rise by seventy-seven percent, from sixty-one postings to one hundred eight. This change is unusual compared to the period before. This surge may be attributed to several factors, including increased hiring by companies like Blue Origin, L3Harris Technologies, and Scitec.
Arizona experienced an even more dramatic increase, with software engineer job postings surging by two hundred nine percent. Postings grew from twenty-two to sixty-eight. This significant jump is highly unusual and could reflect a strong demand for tech talent in the state.
North Carolina also posted a substantial rise in software engineer job openings, climbing by one hundred twenty percent. Postings went from forty-one to ninety. This growth is considerably higher than the period preceding it and may indicate a growing tech sector within the state.
