MogiUS Software Engineer Job Postings Rise 8 Percent
Full Stack Engineer postings more than double as overall volume edges up.
By Ingrid Solberg, Mogi Research · Oct 26, 2026
New job postings for Software Engineers in the US rose eight percent last week. The total number of new postings across all roles edged up seven percent. This change may reflect increased demand for technical expertise in the current market.
Postings for Full Stack Engineers saw a significant surge, more than doubling with a one hundred four percent rise. This could indicate a growing need for individuals skilled in both front-end and back-end development. Alternatively, it may point to a specific focus on updating or building new web applications.
In contrast, Product Manager roles saw a sixteen percent fall in new job postings. Data Engineer postings also fell by two percent. These decreases could suggest a temporary pause in hiring for these positions or a reallocation of resources to other areas.
