American Electric Power job postings up 112 percent

American Electric Power added job postings in Ohio over the last seven days. Postings rose by one hundred twelve percent, from sixteen to thirty four. The total number of job postings in Ohio fell by six percent in the same period, from five thousand three hundred sixty to five thousand six hundred ninety seven.

This rise in postings at American Electric Power may be due to several factors. The company may be expanding its operations or filling newly created roles. It is also possible that the increase reflects a shift in how job openings are posted or tracked.

The base for American Electric Power postings is small, with thirty four postings now. A change of just a few postings could make the percentage look like noise. For example, if the number had gone from sixteen to twenty, the rise would be twenty five percent, not one hundred twelve percent.
