Data Scientist Job Postings Rise in Michigan, Illinois, California

Data scientist job postings in Michigan surged by one hundred forty eight percent. This rise saw postings go from twenty three to fifty seven over the last 28 days. Illinois saw postings rise by one hundred fifty seven percent, from fourteen to thirty six. California postings increased by one hundred thirty percent, from twenty seven to sixty two.

This growth may be driven by several factors. Companies may be seeking to expand their analytics capabilities. It is also possible that increased demand for data driven insights is fueling these additions. The crawl may also be reflecting a seasonal increase in hiring.

For someone applying for data scientist roles this month, these figures mean more opportunities are likely available in these states. For example, in Michigan, Howmet Aerospace posted fifty three data scientist roles. This suggests that candidates may find a broader selection of positions to apply for compared to the previous period.
