Job postings for Data Scientists in California experienced a surge of one hundred thirty percent over the past 28 days. This reflects an increase from twenty seven postings before to sixty two postings now.
Other technical roles also saw significant growth. Backend Engineer postings rose two hundred fifty seven percent, and Machine Learning Engineer postings grew one hundred nine percent. Data Analyst postings increased ninety three percent, while Full Stack Engineer postings were up eighty percent.
The increase in Data Scientist postings may be driven by several factors. Companies like Booz Allen Hamilton and EXL Talent Acquisition Team posted four new positions each. Chime added three new Data Scientist postings.
The rise in these specific roles could reflect a growing demand for data analysis and machine learning capabilities within California's tech sector. It is also possible that the hiring cycles for these positions have aligned within the reporting window.
