In the past 28 days, Texas added job postings for Data Engineers, with a 106 percent rise from 33 to 68. This surge in postings may reflect increased demand for these roles in the state. It could also be influenced by a seasonal uptick in hiring or specific industry growth within Texas.
Conversely, Illinois saw a fall in Data Engineer job postings, down 46 percent from 48 to 26. This decrease could be attributed to a reduction in hiring needs by major employers in the state, or perhaps a shift in focus to other roles. The data for Illinois shows a notable change in the volume of postings.
Virginia also saw a rise in Data Engineer job postings, increasing by 46 percent to 82 postings. California experienced a 47 percent rise in postings to 50. These movements indicate varied activity across different states for this role, with Texas and California showing strong growth.
