Software engineer job postings in Texas saw a significant fall of sixty three percent in the last 28 days. This change follows a period where postings were six hundred and seventy five, dropping to two hundred and fifty one.
This fall may be due to several factors. It could reflect a seasonal slowdown in hiring, or perhaps a shift in employer needs for different roles. It is also possible that the data reflects fewer new postings being added by employers during this specific window.
In contrast, California saw a rise of forty percent in software engineer postings, adding two hundred and eighty nine new postings. New York experienced a smaller rise of two percent, adding four new postings. Other states like Maryland and Virginia also saw increases, with Maryland up thirty five percent and Virginia up seventy nine percent.
