This contrasts with California, where postings for software engineers rose by thirty seven percent, adding one hundred eighty eight postings.
Texas also saw a substantial fall in software engineer job postings. Postings in Texas dropped by sixty six percent, from six hundred fifty five to two hundred twenty four. This could be due to various factors affecting the job market in that state.
Overall, the number of new software engineer job postings across the US decreased by sixteen percent in the last twenty eight days. This change could reflect shifts in employer demand or seasonal hiring patterns. Maryland and Virginia both saw increases in software engineer job postings during this period.
