In Illinois, the total number of new job postings decreased by five percent over the last seven days, from six thousand eighty five to five thousand seven hundred sixty eight. This change reflects a slight fall in overall hiring activity found by our data.

Prime Healthcare, a major employer in the state, posted one hundred forty seven jobs in the most recent week, a one percent fall from one hundred forty nine postings in the week prior. This could be due to a variety of factors, including seasonal hiring patterns or specific departmental needs.

In contrast, other employers showed different movements. Domino's saw a significant rise in job postings, adding fifty one percent more roles compared to the previous week. Northwestern Medicine added six percent more job postings. These varied changes suggest that different sectors or companies may be experiencing distinct hiring demands.
