Colorado Software Engineer Postings Rise

Software engineer job postings in Colorado rose by one hundred nine percent in the last month. This rise saw postings go from sixty-four to one hundred thirty-four. This change is a significant increase compared to the overall national trend for this role, which saw a sixteen percent fall.

Other states also experienced substantial growth in software engineer postings. Arizona saw a one hundred fifty-nine percent rise, and Missouri saw a one hundred thirty-eight percent rise. California, however, experienced a forty-nine percent rise, just under the threshold for a surge.

Several factors may have contributed to the rise in Colorado. It is possible that increased demand from specific industries within the state, such as aerospace where Blue Origin and Sierra Space are active, could be a driver. Additionally, changes in how job postings are captured or reported could also play a role in the observed figures.
